A landscaping firm is a step away from national honours after scooping three titles.
Dawson Landscapes, which is based in Hartlepool, entered the Marshalls annual regional awards and out of ten categories up for grabs, it won three.
The firm, which was first set up 15 years ago, won Most Creative Use of Marshalls Products, Best Use of Drivesys (which is a block paving system) and Best Driveway Transformation Over 70 Metres.
The triple honour means the Whitby Street South-based firm has now been entered into the Marshalls National Awards, out of 2,000 entries. They will be held in March next year in Leeds.
Dawson Landscapes, which is a Marshall’s approved contractor, were represented by managing director Andrew Dawson when they received the regional titles at the Riverside ground in Chester-le-Street.
They were all awarded for the Hartlepool company’s work on a project in a private garden in Newcastle.
Mr Dawson said: “The driveway front garden was designed and completed by ourselves and defiantly had the “wow” factor.
“Dawson Landscapes Ltd prides itself on our service and have a reputation second to none. These awards are a fantastic achievement for all our personnel.”
He said the firm’s success in three categories was proof that the whole team was doing excellent work.
Mr Dawson said his company was enjoying excellent business and was handling everything from installing play areas to maintenance, all with a team of 17 people.
